Murdered: Body of woman missing in Reno found
The female remains found in Southeast Reno on Friday are those of 19-year-old Brianna Denison, authorities announced today.
Police said she died of strangulation.
Items in the field where she was found were recovered. The family was notified this morning.
The autopsy is finished, police say, however there are other tests being done on the body. The case has been linked through evidence of at least two, possibly three sexual assaults linked through DNA, police said.
