Murdock, Bill

Bill Murdock died at home on Thursday, Dec. 7. At his side were Coby, his faithful border collie companion of 11 years; Shadow, Cobes best buddy, an 11-year-old Truckee mix; and Squishie, the kittie who loved sleeping with Bill. Bill is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Joyce. He is survived by his sister Susan Deskin of Redwood City, and his half brother John Marteo of Menlo Park. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Sierra Bible Church, 11460 Brockway Road (Old Highway 267), Truckee. In lieu of flowers , a memorial fund has been established at Plumas Bank to assist friends with the expense of sending Bill on his final journey. For further information, call 550-7317.
