North Lake Tahoe Bonanza Editor MacMillan to lead Sierra Sun editorial department

TRUCKEE/TAHOE and#8212; Kevin MacMillan, the editor of the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza in Incline Village, Nev., will be expanding his role as the editor of the Sierra Sun starting this week.

MacMillan, a 2007 graduate of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich., will be coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Sierra Sun, including story assignments, news budgeting and page layout.

and#8220;Kevin has shown an exceptional ability to understand industry changes, as well as showing desire to build our newspapers and websites into some of the best community products in the country,and#8221; said executive editor Ryan Slabaugh. and#8220;We know he will work well to lead our team of talented reporters to grow our coverage of Truckee and the North Shore and our reputation as news leaders in the communities.and#8221;

MacMillan has live in Tahoe Vista, Calif., since July 2007.
