North Shore traffic slowed for gas line break

Traffic on Highway 28 was temporarily delayed today when a 2-inch gas line was severed nearby.

The damaged line, which was being connected by Southwest Gas to a new residence at 245 Old County Road, did not affect services to other customers, said Cynthia Messina, spokesperson for Southwest Gas. No roads were closed while workers repaired the line.
