KINGS BEACH, Calif. — This summer will mark the 10th Annual Music on the Beach, a free concert series held Friday evenings at Kings Beach State Recreation Area in Kings Beach.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, Music on the Beach will have 10 concerts over a 12-week period, June 17 through September 2, excluding July 1 and August 12.
The popular concert series is produced by the North Tahoe Business Association; each concert takes place from 6-8:30 p.m.
Local and regional bands scheduled to perform feature a variety of musical genres, everything from blues to rock to honky-tonk.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, NTBA has unveiled a sleek new logo for the concert series — depicting the famed blue outline of Lake Tahoe as the headstock of a guitar, complete with six tuning machines, three on each side.
