TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; Below are incidents from the Placer County Sheriffandamp;#8217;s Office press log for Nov. 10-Dec. 3.Nov. 10Vandalism: At 2:30 p.m. on the 8700 Block on North Lake Boulevard in Kings Beach, an unknown suspect vandalized a victimandamp;#8217;s vehicle by cutting hoses and cables.Nov. 11Theft: At 6 a.m. at a hotel in Olympic Valley, an unknown suspect stole a snowblower from a hotel resort in Squaw Valley.Nov. 13Theft: Sometime overnight on Cedarwood Drive in Tahoe City, an unknown suspect removed a wallet from a victimandamp;#8217;s vehicle.Drunk: At 8:30 p.m. on Lake Vista Road in Kings Beach, a male subject was arrested for drunkenness in public.Nov. 14Theft: At 3 p.m. at the Village at Northstar, an unknown suspect removed a victimandamp;#8217;s cellphone from a business in the village.Nov. 16DUI: At 1:40 a.m. in Tahoe City, a subject was pulled over for speeding; it was determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest was turned over to the California Highway Patrol.Nov.. 18DUI: At 12:30 a.m. on Highway 89 and Cathedral Drive in Tahoe City, a male subject was turned over to CHP for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.Burglary: At 1:30 p.m. on Sequoia Avenue in Tahoe City, it was reported that sometime in July, an unknown suspect removed jewelry from a victimandamp;#8217;s dresser at her vacation home.Nov. 19DUI: At 3 a.m. on Highway 267 and Cambridge Drive in Kings Beach, pursuant to a report of a vehicle crashing into a telephone pole, a driver was located and turned over to CHP for a suspected DUI.Nov. 20Theft: At 9 a.m. at the Village at Northstar, an unknown suspect removed a cellphone from a victimandamp;#8217;s purse.Theft: At 11 a.m. on Dakar Road in Agate Bay, it was reported an unknown suspect stole a cord of firewood sometime in the past month.Nov. 21At 10 a.m. in the Highlands neighborhood in Tahoe City, a female suspect issued a promise to appear on a Placer County warrant.Nov. 21Fighting: At 2 a.m. on North Lake Boulevard in Kings Beach, three intoxicated male subjects picked a fight against one male subject at a bar. One of the three subjects punched the victim in the face. The victim desires prosecution.Nov. 22Identity theft: At 11 a.m. on Jackpine Street in Tahoe City, an unknown suspect attempted to open two accounts under a victimandamp;#8217;s name, using his personal information. No monetary loss has occurred yet.Theft: At 1:45 p.m. on Lake Vista Drive in Kings Beach, a victim reported plywood and boards missing for his house under construction.Theft: At 2:15 p.m. near Northstar California ski resort, an unknown suspect stole snowboard bindings from a condo complex.DUI: At 8:30 p.m. on Highway 28 in Tahoe Vista, pursuant to a citizen report of a possible drunk driver, a vehicle was located and the driver turned over to CHP for a suspected DUI.Nov. 23Vandalism: Sometime since Nov. 14 and Nov. 23 at the 7800 block on North Lake Tahoe Boulevard in Tahoe Vista, a BB gun was fired at a vehicle, causing two scratches.Vandalism: At 9:30 a.m. on the 700 Block on North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City an intoxicated male subject became enraged when a local bar refused to serve him. The subject then proceeded to punch out a plate glass window to the business. The subject was later located and arrested for being drunk in public and vandalism.Nov. 25Vandalism: At 4 a.m. on the 8600 Block on North Lake Boulevard in Kings Beach, an unknown suspect smashed out a window of a victimandamp;#8217;s business.Theft: Sometime overnight on the 8500 Block on Brook Street in Kings Beach, an unknown suspect entered a victimandamp;#8217;s apartment and removed a laptop and iPhone.Nov. 27Theft: Sometime since May on Toboggan Road in Tahoe City an unknown suspect stole a victimandamp;#8217;s snowblower, totaling in $2,500 in loss.Burglary: At 11 a.m. on Highlands View Road in Truckee a male suspect was arrested for burglary. The suspect stole more than $1,400 worth of personal electronics and snowboard equipment from his roommate.Nov. 28Theft: At 1:30 p.m. on Martis Valley Road in Truckee an unknown suspect broke into a victimandamp;#8217;s vehicle and stole her purse and contents.Dec. 1Theft: At an unknown time on Holly Road in Tahoe City an unknown suspect removed skis from a victimandamp;#8217;s vehicle ski rack.Dec. 2Burglary: At 9:30 p.m. on State Highway 267 and Dolly Varden in Kings Beach a male subject was arrested after trying to enter a residence not belonging to him. The subject was detained for drunkenness in public due to his erratic behavior combined with his level of intoxication.
