North Tahoe crime logs: Woman suspects supermodel is stealing her checks

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; The following are incident reports submitted by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office Tahoe substation during the time period of July 13-31:

Saturday, July 13:

and#8226; At 8 a.m., an unknown suspect removed a secured three-person float tube from a residence in the 100 block of West Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City.



and#8226; At 8:30 a.m., an unknown suspect removed a camera from the picnic area in Kings Beach State Park.

and#8226; A male subject was arrested for a felony Placer County warrant in the 5000 block of North Lake Boulevard in Carnelian Bay. The incident occurred at 10:45 a.m.



and#8226; An unknown suspect stole earrings from the spa portion of a North Shore ski resort. The incident occurred at 5:15 p.m.

and#8226; At 5:15 p.m., a woman left her purse in a public restroom at Kings Beach State Park. When she later returned, the purse was gone. The are no known suspects.

and#8226; At 7 p.m., a male subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and holding several types of narcotic with the intent to sell. The arrest was made on the 8700 block of Minnow Avenue.

Monday, July 15:

and#8226; At noon, a report of vandalism to the reporting partyand#8217;s outside fence and outside lights was taken. The incident occurred sometime since May.

and#8226; At 4 p.m., a report was taken at a neighborhood near a North Shore ski resort with the reporting party claiming an unknown suspect put an unknown substance in his gas tank, causing $2,500 worth of damage.

Tuesday, July 16:

and#8226; At 1 a.m., a subject was arrested for public intoxication after officers attempted to enter a residence not belonging to the subject and then briefly pursued him before subduing and arresting him.

and#8226; The front windshield of a reporting partyand#8217;s car was broken by an unknown object sometime overnight in Kings Beach.

Wednesday, July 17:

and#8226; A female subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at 12:30 a.m. in downtown Tahoe City.

and#8226; A male subject was found by officers highly intoxicated and sitting in the middle of the Fiberboard Freeway at 10:30 a.m. The subject was arrested for violation of probation and drunk in public.

Thursday, July 18:

and#8226; A report was taken at 5 p.m. at the Tahoe City post office, where the reporting party claimed a supermodel was stealing checks from her post office box.

and#8226; An intoxicated female removed a tip jar from a Tahoe City establishment at around 9 p.m. Several days later, the female paid back the owner and no prosecution was desired.

Friday, July 19:

and#8226; At 6 p.m., an assault between two females occurred in Kings Beach. The victim did not wish to prosecute.

Saturday, July 20:

and#8226; A male subject was arrested for public intoxication on Beaver Street in Kings Beach. The incident occurred at 2 a.m.

and#8226; At 3 p.m., an unknown suspect scratched the reporting partyand#8217;s vehicle in Kings Beach.

and#8226; At 5 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victimand#8217;s Seadoo from a lakefront residence at the 4000 block in Homewood.
