TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; The following are incident reports submitted by the Placer County Sheriffandamp;#8217;s Office Tahoe substation during the time period of June 20-27.Monday, June 20:At 12:30 a.m., an unknown suspect drove a car into automatic doors that led into a downtown Tahoe City business, causing approximately $8,000 in damage. Tuesday, June 21:An intoxicated female subject was arrested for resisting arrest and battery on a peace officer pursuant to a report of a disturbance in a residence. The incident occurred at 8 p.m. in the Cedar Crest Avenue area of Tahoe City. Wednesday, June 22:A female subject was arrested for using and purchasing false citizenship documents in Squaw Valley. The arrest was made around 11 a.m.A male subject was cited and released on a misdemeanor warrant out of Placer County. The citation was delivered at 2:30 p.m. at the 1800 block of West Lake Boulevard in Sunnyside. Thursday, June 23:A female subject was observed swerving and running a red light on Highway 267 in Kings Beach. She was pulled over and turned over to California Highway Patrol for a DUI arrest at 12:45 a.m.At 8:30 p.m. a motorist struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene. Later, the driver was contacted and placed under arrest for DUI by CHP. The incident occurred in downtown Tahoe City. Saturday, June 25:An unknown suspect removed a wallet and $200 cash from a hotel room in Squaw Valley at approximately 2 p.m. An unknown suspect removed a Global Positioning System device from the reporting partyandamp;#8217;s vehicle at 2 p.m. The incident occurred on River Road. Two male subjects were arrested after PCSO responded to a report of a loud party. The first subject was apprehended due to violating his probation by being intoxicated. The second subject, 20, was arrested for drunk in public and a minor in possession of alcohol. The arrest was made at 10 p.m. near Trout Avenue in Kings Beach. A male subject was stopped for speeding and crossing double yellow lines. The male was determined to be under the influence. CHP responded and arrested the subject on suspicion of DUI. The incident occurred at 11:15 p.m. in Tahoe Vista. Sunday, June 26: At 2 a.m., an intoxicated male subject was found by PCSO stumbling in the middle of Bear Street in Kings Beach. The subject was arrested for drunk in public and resisting arrest.Two subjects were caught shoplifting groceries in Tahoe Vista after attempting to purchase items with a declined credit card. The subjects left the store, were contacted later and returned to pay with cash. The incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. and no arrests were reported. Monday, June 27: andamp;#8226; An unknown suspect removed a wooden realty company sign from the property of a Carnelian Bay-based business. The incident occurred at some point between the time of the report and Wednesday, June 22.andamp;#8212; Compiled by Matthew Renda
