Seven of the nine players on the North Tahoe volleyball team were voted by coaches to the Northern 2A All-League squad, with head coach Tom LeFevers named Co-Coach of the Year along with Whittell’s Dan McLaughlin.

Five of those seven Lakers earned All-State recognition.

Senior Laura Hansen, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker, and junior middle blocker Kayla Baumgardner were voted to both the All-League and All-State first team.

Haley Burmer, a senior opposite hitter, made first-team All-League and second-team All-State. Junior setter Kelly Hester was voted to both the All-League and All-State second team, while senior Leah Wall earned second-team All-League recognition and All-State honorable mention.

Senior Shirley Murray and junior Sidney Courcier each were awarded All-League honorable mention.

Jordan Reeder of Whittell was voted the Northern 2A’s most valuable player while also earning All-State Player of the Year honors.
