INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The American Red Cross of Northern Nevada invites anyone interested in volunteering for the Incline Village chapter to attend a meet and greet reception for new Executive Director Zanny Marsh from 3-4 p.m. on April 21 at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center.

Marsh has served the nonprofit community for many years, and she was a volunteer with the Red Cross from 1995-2001.

Light refreshments will be served at the April 21 event, where people can sign up to volunteer for the Red Cross or learn more about volunteer needs.

The Red Cross will be participating on May 30 in the Incline Village Evacuation Exercise and help with a mock shelter that will be established at Diamond Peak.

Members of the Washoe County Emergency Management, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, CERT, ARES, Washoe County Animal Services and IVGID will be among agencies participating in this exercise.

Volunteers are also invited to attend the Spring Fling Waffle Breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on April 24 in the Chapter Parking Lot located at 1190 Corporate Blvd. in Reno.
