Obama to stop in Reno, Carson City on Monday

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama will visit Reno and Carson City as part of a campaign tour.

Obama, (D-IIl.), is vying for the Democratic presidential nomination against front runners Hillary Clinton, (D-N.Y.), and John Edwards.

His visit comes before Nevada’s Jan. 19 caucus, slated to be the first major caucus on the West Coast.

The Illinois senator is scheduled to appear in at the Reno Events Center Monday. Doors open at 11 a.m. Later in the day he is supposed to speak at the Carson City Community Center at 7 p.m.
