Gordon A. Waldo

Gordon A. Waldo, 75, of Reno, NV, passed away on October 28, 2016 at his residence. Gordon is survived by his wife Martha (Marty) Waldo; two sons, Randy Waldo, of Sun Valley, NV and Michael Waldo, of Paradise, CA; brothers, LeRoy Waldo, of Prescott, AZ, and Richard Waldo, of Lodi, CA; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Gordon was born in Stockton, CA, on April 2, 1941. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964. Originally from Foresthill and Auburn, CA, Gordon and his wife and children moved to Truckee, CA. in 1978, where Gordon owned a heating and sheet metal business for a number of years and later was an Automotive Technician for the CA Highway Patrol until retiring in 1998. In late 2005, Gordon and Marty relocated to Reno, NV. While living in Truckee, Gordon enjoyed playing golf and, through the years, played many rounds at Tahoe Donner Golf Course. A memorial service will be held at the Veteran’s National Cemetery located in Fernley, NV, on December 2, 2016, at 11:00 am.
