Lawrence Edward Caughey (Larry)

Lawrence Edward Caughey (Larry) passed away on March 3rd, 2016 in Lake Tahoe. He was born in California July 3rd, 1961. He graduated from Fallon High School in 1979. Although he moved frequently as a child, he lived in Kings Beach area for over 30 years and that was home to him. He loved everything about Nevada and the Tahoe area. He was an avid nature lover and spent many trips to the lakes camping with his family and friends. He will be remembered by all who knew him as the most easy-going, loving, caring, and giving soul there was. His family and friends were the most important things in his life and he made sure all knew it. Preceding him in death was his Grandmother Nancy Catanese.

He leaves behind his best friend and only son Justin Caughey (Eden), daughter Christena Nicole Hutchcraft, mother Diane Ferro, sister Cindy Hampton, sister Denise Fortune (Tom), nephews Josh Fortune, Zach Washabaugh (Melissa), Travis Washabaugh, nieces Cayla Millsap (Clayton), Courtney Fortune (Brad), grandson Antonio, great-niece Caydence and great-nephews Jaeden and Aidyn. He was loved by and will be missed by many. His kindness and loving personality will never be forgotten. There is a celebration of life planned for May in Kings Beach.
