Obituary: Doris A. Courtney

Doris A. Courtney was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 31, 1929 and died peacefully in her Incline Village home surrounded by family on February 3, 2016. Doris enjoyed being a resident of Incline Village, Nevada for the last 12 years of her life. Her life journey also included living in Wellington, Florida; Barrington, Illinois; Westport, Connecticut; Oklahoma City and Fort Worth, Texas.

Doris was very happy to be able to live near her two daughters, Kathy Courtney of Reno and Elaine Courtney and her husband Mark Osberg of Incline Village. Doris adored her two grandchildren, Russell Reinhart & Anna Pisarski both of Reno, Nevada.

Doris loved family, animals, nature, travel, skiing, music, shopping, crafts, walking, O.U. Football games, laughing and being grateful. She lived a full and adventurous life and did her best to look on the bright side.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Cornerstone Church in Incline Village, Nevada. Friends and neighbors are invited to join the family for music, pictures and stories.
