Obituary: Hugh McArthur

Hugh McArthur, Incline Village resident from 1966 to 1987, passed away November 7, 2014 in Bothell, WA due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease.

McArthur moved to Incline after a successful career with D’Arcy Advertising in San Francisco. He also owned a restaurant in North Beach called the Sextant.

McArthur and his wife, Barbara, owned McArthur Realty in Incline, Hugh was a popular golfer, and in later years, an artist.

McArthur is survived by one son, Randy Cook and a granddaughter, Taylor, who live in Hawaii.

A memorial service was held recently at the Bothell Senior Center, where all of McArthur’s paintings were on display.
