Robert was born and raised in San Francisco. He loved life and lived in the moment. He always loved the outdoors and sports. He is survived by his daughters, Debra and Kimberly, his seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his brother Fred, and his very long and dear friend, Nancy. Also, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bob had many close friends and made scores of others through his fifty years of teaching snow skiing. He moved to Soda Springs, CA in his early twenties and lived there most his life until retiring in Colfax, CA a few years ago.

He was a true “in the moment” kind of guy and enjoyed many good times whether it was skiing, golfing, hiking swimming, roller blading, or taking a road trip. He loved nature and wildlife. Bob will be missed by his old dear friends and family, his childlike behavior, his jokes, his smiles, take it easy attitude, and his love for life. We all hope Bob’s having fun in the “Big Ski Hill in the sky.” We love you and miss you.
