Bobby passed on August 30, 2016, while he was with his dearest friend’s abalone diving, which he loved very much, at Fort Bragg, Ca.

Bobby was born on March 30, 1961 to Robert William Sherwood II & Carol Dalgleish in San Francisco, CA. Bobby moved to Donner Summit when he was 12 years old.

Bobbie met Tay, the love of his life in 1989 and they soon married on March 17, 1990 in Thailand,

He worked for the labor union for over 30 years. He labored on many projects such as refurbishing the Rainbow Bridge, HWY 80 and HWY 89, plus various local roads. He volunteered his time cooking at the Donner Trail Elementary Thanksgiving dinner for many years. Bobby owned Soda Spring Snow Removal, providing a vital service in this mountain climate. He was a wonderful provider to his wife and sons.

Bobby will be greatly missed by his wife Tay; sons Hunter and Wilder; two sisters Kimberly and Debra; and his mother and father, Carol Dalgleish and Bob Sherwood II, extended family and friends, and all that knew him.

A Visual/Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 7th, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Truck Tahoe Mortuary, 10126 Church St., Truckee, CA

A mass will be held Thursday September 8th at Assumption Catholic Church, 10930 Alder Drive, Truckee, CA. to be followed by interment at the Sierra Mountains Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers an account has been set up in Bobbies’ sisters name at Tri-County Bank, account is under Kimberly Sherwood.
