Obituary: Barbara Barnes

Barbara Ann (Rouse) Barnes, long-time past resident of Dollar Point at Tahoe City, passed away on April 11, 2010, at her home in Santa Rosa, Calif., surrounded by her family, due to complications from cancer. She was 76.

Her loving husband Bill never left her side during the five-month ordeal. She will be truly missed by all. She was born Oct. 13, 1933, in Bisbee, Ariz. She married her husband William C. Barnes on June 25, 1955, in Yuma, Ariz. She is survived by her husband Bill; sons Steven and Larry Barnes; brother Robert Rouse; and sisters-in-law Kay Dunn and Sue Rouse. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.T. (Curly) and Elizabeth Rouse.
