Obituary: Carolyn Jean Bottemiller

Carolyn Jean Bottemiller passed away at home on June 19, 2010, at the age of 62. She was born to Dwain and Betty (Kumle) St. Clair on June 23, 1947, in McPherson, Kan.Carol was always there for you as someone you could confide in. She had a gentle, loving spirit which was a joy and blessing to all that knew her. Carol especially loved her three grandchildren. She spent many years working in the dentistry field as an assistant and bookkeeper. Truckee, Calif., was her favorite home where she enjoyed the trees and snow, along with riding her favorite horses Twister and Nugget. Her pastimes included her vegetable garden, watching films of Poirot, Murder She Wrote, Golden Girls and Agatha Christie.Carol is survived by her husband Dave; her daughter, Tami Ann Carbonell; son-in-law, Joe; three grandchildren, Joey, Elizabeth and Amanda; and sisters, Jowayne Brumbeloe and Eva Morris.Per Carolandamp;#8217;s requests, no services will be held. Donations may be made in her name to the Tahoe Forest Hospital Hospice Program, 10083 Lake Ave., Truckee, CA 96161. Arrangements entrusted to the Ross, Burke andamp; Knobel Mortuary, Reno, NV.
