Obituary: Dorothy Louise Cothran-Nanry

Jan. 3, 1956-Oct. 13, 2011

It is with great sorrow and sadness I announce the passing of my beautiful sister Dorothy. She fought many battles in her short time here. Her broken wings now repaired she flies free. May her beautiful smile forever be in our hearts, her body rest upon a warm beach, her spirit soar free in the mountain tops and her soul find peace and happiness.

Dorothy loved the Sierra and the beaches of California. Born and raised in Orange County, Calif., she moved to Lake Tahoe in 1975 and lived in Kings Beach until returning to San Clemente, Calif., in 1986. She lived there with her family and husband until her passing. She is survived by her three beautiful daughters Erin, Kelly, and Lindsey, two grandchildren, her husband, mother, father, two brothers, two sisters and many nieces and nephews and of course her dog Dakota.

A memorial service was held in San Clemente at the Christ Lutheran Church on Oct. 22, 2011.
