Obituary: Frank J. Schneider

Frank J. Schneider, beloved husband, father and friend, died peacefully on February 2, 2011.

Frank, 87, was a native of Saint Louis, Missouri. He served in the Navy during WWII on the submarine S.S. Queen Fish 393 as machinist mate 1st class. Immediately upon his return to the United States, he met Juanita, his wife of 64 years. Frank and Juanita built a life in San Francisco with their son and daughter, Joe and JB. Frank built his career in San Francisco working for Alta Roofing Company for 45 years where he also served as superintendent.

Over the years, Frank and Juanitaand#8217;s family grew to include 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family enjoyed trips to the Tahoe area for many years and Frank and Juanita made Truckee their permanent residence in 1995.



Frank observed his faith and attended services at Assumption Catholic Church in Truckee where his memorial will be held on March 12 at 11:00. A reception will follow at the parish hall at 10116 Church St. Frank will be buried at the Truckee Cemetery.
