Joanne Randall Rollo

In loving memory of Joanne Randall Rollo, born Jan. 26, 1927. She passed away on Sept. 23, 2008, peacefully of old age at Life Care Center in Reno, Nev. at age 81.

Joanne was a resident and business owner in the Tahoe and Truckee area for 25 years. She was a graduate of USC and had her masters degree in Bookkeeping/Accounting. Joanne was also an owner of Rollo Professional Insurance Agency in Truckee. She will be sorely missed by family, friends, extended family members, colleagues and acquaintances.

Joanne was first widowed by James John Reagan, and secondly widowed by Harger Rollo. Joanne’s deceased sons are Kenneth Rollo and Peter K. Rollo. She is survived by sons John R. Rollo and Van R. Rollo and daughter Kathy Rollo. Grandchildren Sarah Marie Rollo, Laurie Rollo, Anna and Poncho. Nephews Gary, Gregg, Steve and Brooks Randall and in-laws. Joanne will always reside in our hearts for extending her love and devotion to the wonderful holidays, birthdays and family get-togethers as an excellent cook and gracious hostess.

Joanne will be an example to us that we can survive the most difficult losses and still succeed in life. We will all honor and respect her. To our beloved Joanne may she rest in peace, our prayers will be with you.

May the light of God touch all the hearts of people and family you have touched both here on earth and your loved ones who await you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Joanne. We will never forget you.

Memorial services will be held at Squall Valley, at the Olympic Village Inn from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.
