Obituary: Keith Brown

On Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, Keith Brown lost his hard-fought battle with cancer. His infectious smile, warm heart and laid-back attitude will stay with us forever and he will be missed by so many.Please join us as we celebrate Keithandamp;#8217;s life on Sunday, October 16th, at Granlibakken Resort at 1:30 p.m.As many of us know, Keith loved to surf, backcountry ski on Mt. Watson, and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time on his paddleboard on Lake Tahoe. To honor and remember Keith, join family and friends for a paddle on the lake. Meet at 10 a.m. at Watermanandamp;#8217;s Landing in Carnelian Bay on Sunday prior to the service.Keith was an accomplished carpenter and furniture builder and especially loved to craft beautiful surf boards. As many of us know, he andamp;#8220;LUV DA WUD.andamp;#8221;Keith is survived by sweet wife in Costa Rica, Giselle Hernandez Brown, mother Margaret Brown, daughters Erica and Liesl Brown, the mother of his daughters Wendie Brown, the grandfather of his daughters Gordon Mutter, granddaughter Isabella, brothers James (Becky), Steve (Rory), Fred (Marina), nephews and nieces Andy (Erin), Tyler (Stacy, Celia), Derek (Alona), Lindsey Gericke (Rich), Chelsie Brown and sister-in-law Chris Pine.andamp;#8220;Be silent.
