Obituary: Nancy Gough

Nancy Gough, 88, of Truckee, Ca, passed away March 6, 2012 in Truckee Ca.

Nancy was born in Smithfield, Ohio, October 4, 1923, to Rory and Lizzie Galbraith. She went to school in Ohio before coming out to California. She retired from IBM and lived in the mountains of Santa Cruz, Ca. Nancy loved her dogs and cats and the outdoors.

She came to live in Truckee in 1999 and lived her life to the fullest hiking, biking, roller-skating, para-sailing ,skiing, camping, boating, showing her Packard, traveling and meeting people. Our Nancy loved life, she will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.



Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her 5 sisters and brother, Charles Gough her husband of 39 years. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Stuck and Sandy Ketter; son in laws, Larry Stuck and John Ketter; granddaughters, Julie and Susan Stuck; and great granddaughter, Shyanne Stuck.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe or Tahoe Forest Hospice.
