OBITUARY: Noveroske, Harold L.

Harold L. Noveroske, 89, died Saturday, April 5 following complications with pneumonia, at the Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee.Harold was happily married for 55 years to Alfreda Noveroske, who passed away in 1992. He is survived by his daughter Sue Ann Donegan and her husband of Truckee; sons Tim Noveroske and his wife of Reno, and Evan Noveroske and his wife of Los Alimos, N.M., as well as three grandsons an a granddaughter.Harold was born in Michigan City, Ind., in 1913. He moved to Vallejo in 1952 with his family where he lived for 41 years. He retired from C&H Sugar Finery in Crockett, Calif.A memorial Service will be held at the Truckee Tahoe Senior Apartment Center on Estates Drive on Friday, April 11 from 3-5 p.m. Private service will be at a later date at All Souls Cemetery in Vallejo. Memorial contributions in Harold’s memory can be made to the “Truckee Tahoe Seniors Council” mailed to Sue Ann Donegan, P.O.Box 10087, Truckee, CA., 96162.Harold touched the hearts of many people by his love of life, good nature and sense of humor with a vast catalog of jokes for every occasion. Arrangements are being handled by Truckee-Tahoe Mortuary.

Wrong-way driver in fatal crash still recovering


The wrong-way driver involved in the Nov. 20 crash that killed two children and two adults will be charged with multiple counts of murder and gross vehicular manslaughter, Nevada County District Attorney Jesse Wilson said.
