Obituary: Phyllis Sue Terrell

Phyllis Sue and#8220;Suzyand#8221; Terrell, 62, born the evening of February 17, 1947, died the evening of January 11, 2010, in the loving arms of her husband Stephen Crowell, from the ravages of Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS). Suzy was born in Dayton, Ohio, lived in the San Fernando Valley during her youth and after graduating from High School in Birmingham, Ala., returned to the Los Angeles area before moving to Incline Village and then Truckee.

Suzy will be loved and her memory forever cherished by brother Bruce; sister Jackie Levy and partner Gary Brewer; the Terrell family of Alabama; the Hill family of Missouri; the Dowling family of Ohio; the Weger family of California; her friends here; and many other family members and friends around the country.

Suzy was cremated and her ashes scattered during a private ceremony. A memorial service will be held this spring. Please call or come by the house if you would like to attend. Donations and Gifts of Remembrance may be sent to ALS of Nevada, the MDA of Nevada or Tahoe Forest Hospice.
