Robert “Bob” Mark Koenig passed away peacefully March 9 at the age of 57. He is survived by his daughters Kristin Koenig of San Rafael, CA, Alison Koenig of Aptos, Calif., parents Ed and Lillian of Rubicon Bay, sister Katie of Grass Valley, brothers Peter and Chris, and nephews Dan and Nick all from Tahoe City.

Bob moved to Tahoe in 1966, and for the last 30 years called Rubicon Bay his home. His creative handprint is left on many Tahoe homes, especially on the west shore as he enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry. Bob had a love of the outdoors, motorcycle riding, camping, fishing, flying and most of all, his daughters. Always a gadget guy, we will remember Bob for his quick wit, playful humor and adventurous spirit.

We miss you already.

The family wishes to express to the community their deep appreciation for the outpouring of support. A memorial service will be held at a future date. For more information, please contact Peter at (530) 448-9615.
