OBITUARY: Russell, Coy Loren Sr.

Coy Russell was born in Greenville, Cutler County, Ala., on Sept. 26, 1912. He passed away in Auburn on April 1, 2003 at the age of 90.

Coy attended B.I.O.L.A. University where he met Vera Klemenok. They were married Oct. 7, 1935. He was the Pastor of numerous rural churches in California, Nevada and Russia.

He was active on the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission Board.



Coy is survived by his wife Vera Russell of Applegate; daughter Adele Rose of Applegate; son Coy (Buzz) Russell Jr. of Applegate; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and is preceded in death by his daughter Darlene Russell.

Services were held at the Sierra Reach Ministries in Applegate on Applegate Road on Saturday, April 5, 2003. Donations may be made to the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 5956, Reno, NV. 90513-5956.
