Obituary: Sheila Rae Forsch

Sheila, born Sept. 3, 1938, passed away peacefully after a short and brave battle with cancer on May 26, 2011. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home in Grass Valley, Calif.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years and the love of her life, James C. Forsch, daughter Kimberly Forsch (Randy Hughes) of Truckee, son Michael Forsch (Elda Attebury) of Sacramento, grandsons Christopher and Nicholas Tennant of Truckee, nephew Mark Paulat (Jill), Ben and Nikki of Anthem, Ariz., and many cousins and life long dear friends.

Sheila was born Sheila Rae Sanders in Sacramento, and graduated from McClatchy H.S. in 1956. She worked for the State of California in Personnel for 20 years, retiring in 1991. Sheila and Jim enjoyed a wonderful life, full of love, joy, fun and adventure. Any gathering with family or friends was among her favorites. Her grandson’s Chris and Nick were the joy of her life.

Sheila was full of life and laughter and love. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
