Obituary: Steven Stewart

Steven and#8220;Buggyand#8221; Stewart passed away quietly at home with his family in Reno, Nev., Sept. 19, 2011.

Steve was born July 13, 1941 in Los Angeles, Calif. He is survived by his three children, Michele Brock, Kimberly, and her husband Rhett Baylies; son, Wayne Stewart of Reno; and two grandsons, Colton and Austin Brock of Truckee, Calif. Also, three sisters, Ginger Mason of Pacific Palisades, Shirley and Pete Menkee of Camp Verde, Ariz., Linda and Bob Povolo of Cudahy, Wis.; a brother, Gene Stewart of Escondido, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a long time resident of Truckee and Tahoe City and a member of E. Clampus Vitus. He was a fine finish carpenter in the Tahoe area since 1970.



Buggy loved riding his motorcycle, fishing and hunting. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

A and#8220;raise a glass to Buggyand#8221; will take place Oct. 2, 2011, at El Toro Bravo in Truckee from 3 to 6 p.m.
