Obituary: Thomas Paul Lahey

Lahey, Thomas Paul, 53, of San Juan Capistrano, passed away suddenly at his office on Friday, January 6, 2012.

Tom was born in Urbana, IL, March 10, 1958; the oldest of four sons. The family moved to Rancho Palos Verdes, CA in 1964 where Tom spent his adolescent years. After graduating from Rolling Hills High School, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Army eventually he was assigned to Army Intelligence. Tom received his honorable discharge, enrolled and graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in Organic Chemistry. Tom used his expertise in chemistry to start his first company, Vapor Extraction Technology and most recently, LutiMax Nutraceuticals.

Tom is survived by his wife Kelli Lahey and son Noah Patrick Lahey; his father Thomas M Lahey, stepmother Logan D Lahey, and brothers Mike, Dave, and Rob, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tom is preceded in death by his mother Joanne Maier Lahey.
