Obituary: Virginia M. Byram

Virginia M. Byram, 91, of Tahoe Pines in Lake Tahoe, passed away peacefully Monday, July 12, 2010, in Truckee.

Virginia was born March 3, 1919, in Sacramento, California. She lived in Oakland with her husband Forest and their four sons, Stephen, Michael, Jack and David. The family moved to Tahoe Pines in 1974, and lived with Virginiaand#8217;s father Salvadore Brocchini.

Virginia was a loving wife and mother during her years in Tahoe Pines. She took great pride in the community and the work she did for Corpus-Christi Church in Tahoe City.

Virginia was proceeded in death by her husband Forest in 1977 and her father Salvadore in 1985. Virginia is survived by her sons, Stephen, 57, and wife Cindy; sons Sebastian, and Kieran, Michael, 56, and son Ben, Jack, 54 and wife Kim, daughter Alisa; sons Gregory and Jonathan, David, 53, wife Arabella and daughter Patti. Other family members, Caroline Faria, Sally Wehe, and her brothers Bill and Steven-Scott; and Judy Byram, mother of Ben Byram.

Mass for Virginia will be held July 17 at Corpus-Christi Church in Tahoe City, at 11 a.m. Following the mass, service will held at Trails End in Tahoe City.

She will missed dearly by all who knew her.
