Bill Burnham, 53, Truckee resident for 16 years, died Tuesday morning.

Bill Burnham, 53, Truckee resident for 16 years, died Tuesday morning. Born at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield California, He and wife, Marla, were married on Oct. 7, 1995, in Truckee. Bill was employed by Bruce Olson Construction as an electrical supervisor. He was very involved in Truckee youth sports as a coach for both AYSO soccer and Truckee Recreation League basketball.Proceeded in death by older brother David Burnham, May 9, 1978; Survived by wife of 13 years, Marla, Truckee, Calif.; mother Wendy Burnham, Tahoe City, Calif.; father Richard Dana Burnham, Ore., son David Burnham, Truckee, Calif.; step-daughter and son-in-law Stacie and Richard Lloyd, Vacaville, Calif.; step-son and daughter-in-law Daniel andamp; Lori Shannon, Reno, Nev.; step-son Cameron Shannon, Truckee, Calif..Services 11 a.m. on Monday, May 18, at Sierra Bible Church, 11460 Brockway Rd, Truckee, Calif. Officiating, Pastor Wayne Hoag with luncheon reception to follow.
