Officials: Man who died last week at Tahoe ski resort was snowboarding

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. andamp;#8212; Christopher Michael Perring, 34, of Great Britain, was killed in a snowboard accident on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Heavenly Mountain Resort, officials have confirmed.According to updated information from the El Dorado County Sheriffandamp;#8217;s Office, Perring was snowboarding on the resortandamp;#8217;s Tamarack run at about 3 p.m. when he attempted to avoid another guest, left the run and hit a sign post, said Lt. Les Lovell.
