TAHOE, Calif. and#8212; The North Lake Tahoe Chamber/CVB/Resort Association is undergoing a membership renaissance and#8212; adding new services and programs directly related to helping local businesses and increasing their bottom line.
One of the most visible changes is the addition of the North Lake Tahoe Business Directory to the organizationand#8217;s consumer website, http://www.GoTahoeNorth.com.
and#8220;Member feedback has been instrumental in shaping the course of our efforts,and#8221; said Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Sandy Evans Hall of the North Lake Tahoe Chamber/CVB/Resort Association. and#8220;Our local businesses and organizations are on the front line. They know best the resources that we can provide to make them succeed.and#8221;
The addition of the business directory to http://www.GoTahoeNorth.com streamlines the process for potential visitors, making it easier for them to search for specific companies that offer their area of interest, while still being able to access overall destination information about lodging, special events, activities, dining and retail from the same website. The site also becomes a more useful tool for local residents investigating area companies and organizations. The siteand#8217;s mobile application will also host the directory, member events and coupons redeemable at area businesses.
According to Membership Manager Deanna Frumenti of the North Lake Tahoe Chamber/CVB/Resort Association the chamberand#8217;s old site, http://www.NorthLakeTahoeChamber.com, will be no longer.
The association is also unrolling a marketing plan that is tied to the launch of the new online business directory. Businesses and organizations advertising on the site can take advantage of a limited number of premium positions that will increase their visibility on http://www.GoTahoeNorth.com.
