Theres a fresh pot brewing at Joe Coffee.Joe Coffee, now called Joe Coffee, Deli, Grocery & Bakery, will reopen at their new location on Jibboom Street in the coming days, said owner Cass Rodriguez. Were going on six and a half years downtown, and were looking forward to being on Jibboom Street, Rodriguez said. A definite date for a grand opening has not been determined, Rodriguez said, but beginning next week customers can stop by to check out the new shop and perhaps pick up a caffeinated beverage. Joe Coffee moved from its previous location on Donner Pass Road in May when High Camp Home owner Diana Vincent purchased the building for her interior and architectural design business. In its new location, Joe Coffee has expanded to include custom-order cakes and baked goods, organic groceries, specialty items such as international sauces and cheeses, and homemade take-and-bake pizza and cookie doughs, Rodriguez said. Free wireless Internet and outdoor seating will also be available. She and her husband Gerry arent the only ones looking forward to the opening. Loyal Truckee patrons are also eager to indulge at Joes once again. I was more than a regular, and Ive been having have to make my coffee, which is terrible, said local Julie Tenorio. We have really missed Joes in the morning and as our afternoon treat, and we just cant wait for them to reopen.

Joe Coffee, Deli, Grocery & Bakery will be opening soon at its new location at 10120 Jibboom St. in Truckee. For more information, call 550-8222.
