Come one, come all to the Tea Party Party in Grass Valley

The Nevada County Tea Party Patriotand#8217;s invites all neighbors to attend with friends and family their first sponsored public event the Tea Party Party, Jan. 23, from 7-10 p.m., Grass Valley Elks Lodge.

Live music and dancing to classic rock nand#8217; roll with Retro Active, complimentary snacks and desserts with no-host bar, and an information booth with members of the Tea Party Patriots to answer questions round out the free event. Find out about who the Tea Party patriots are, what they stand for, and how people can actively participate in Americaand#8217;s largest grass roots movement.

The goal of the event is to bring people together in a festive environment where they can meet neighbors who also care about the countryand#8217;s health and longevity. Tea Party Patriots believe we have the freedom and constitutional right to keep our government in check. They also believe in having fun!



People have read about them, or seen them at parades, on TV, in the newspapers, and on the web, at local, statewide and national Tea Parties. This event will give neighbors firs-hand knowledge, without editorial interpretation.

Go out Saturday, Jan 23 for great music with local Classic Rock and#8216;Superbandand#8217; and#8211; Retro Active, dance if you please, and enjoy and complimentary snacks, desserts and a no-host bar.



The event will kick off officially at 7:15 p.m. with the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 535, presenting the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem, sung by Katie Heward. Chairman of the Board of the Nevada County Tea Party Patriots, Stan Meckler, will be the guest speaker. He will give an overview of how the Nevada County Patriots started, what they have been doing, and how people can get involved. A video will be shown on a continuous loop that illustrates and speaks about the nation-wide Tea Party Patriot movement. And, of course, great rock and roll to make the Tea Party Party a memorable experience.
