The Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe invites the North Tahoe and Truckee community to participate in the 2nd annual Community Sale to benefit the Boys andamp; Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe.The sale will take place on Aug. 8, 2009 at Northstar-at-Tahoe from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. New and gently used items, a raffle and kid art show. Food and refreshments will be available for shoppers. All proceeds go to the programs and services at the club, where more than 200 kids go for support and positive guidance daily.Boys andamp; Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe was founded in 1998 in response to a lack of affordable, year-round youth development services on the North Shore. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys andamp; Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow, all while having fun.
