Creekside’s fundraiser to feature Horsemouth

TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; Tahoe Cityandamp;#8217;s Creekside Cooperative Charter School is hosting its winter fundraising event with a concert by Tahoeandamp;#8217;s own Horsemouth on Saturday, March 10, at Tahoe Cityandamp;#8217;s Dockside 700 Wine Bar andamp; Grill, below the Tahoe Yacht Club at 700 North Lake Blvd.Horsemouth is a homegrown, mountain rock reggae dub band heralding from Lake Tahoe and the Carson Valley. Heavily influenced by mountain to coast culture and lifestyle, Horsemouthandamp;#8217;s eclectic original style is dubbed out-bass driven-grooves, guitar solos and reggae rhythms; mixed with saxophone, hip-hop, blues, country and turntables. With recent dates played from atop the High Sierra, back to Iowa and as far south as Los Barriles, B.C.S., Horsemouth has grown in popularity. andamp;#8220;With the popularity of our first concert fundraiser this past fall featuring Dead Winter Carpenters, we decided to host yet another amazing band this year,andamp;#8221; said Camille Taylor, director for Creekside. andamp;#8220;Weandamp;#8217;re honored this time its Horsemouth, featuring Creekside parent Brian Buckton, and hope to not only raise funds for the school, but continue to bring entertainment and fun to Tahoe!andamp;#8221;Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 in advance at New Moon Natural Foods in both Truckee and Tahoe City.
