Special to the Sun

Courtesy Tim LippertTim LoDolce built this "plans built" aircraft during a 5 1/2 year period in the late 90s. It was designed by the world-famous aeronautical engineer Burt Rutan and is virtually stall proof. It carries two people in tandem seating (front/back) cruises at 200+ mph at about 40 mpg. It has flown coast-to-coast on many occasions and can make the East Coast in under 11 hours of flight time. LoDolce said is truly a joy to fly.
