Homewood’s Second Annual Mini Slopestyle

TAHOE CITY – Calling all mini skiers and snowboarders. Gather at Homewood Mountain Resort March 13 to compete in the Second Annual Mini Slopestyle Competition. Children ages 12 and under will have a chance to show some style, and more importantly, have fun as they race down Lower Rainbow Ridge, from the top of Madden Chair.

“This race will be a blast, and a great opportunity for younger skiers and riders,” said Erin DeMont, Homewood’s event manager. “Everyone at this event will be a winner.”

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. upstairs in Homewood’s North Lodge. A parent or legal guardian must be present for signature of liability release form. The race will begin at 11 a.m. and all contestants must wear helmets. Cost is $25 per competitor, which includes a lift ticket. Awards will be given out at 1 p.m. on the mountain.
