TRUCKEE, Calif. — This week's question: How are water levels around the region impacting your summer recreation?

Here are this week's responses, as asked Monday at Donner Lake:

Tim White, Realtor, Austin, Texas (former Truckee resident): "It affected our trip. We wanted to float the (Truckee) River, but we couldn't."

Charles Ingalls, musician, Truckee: "I can't do epic dives off the docks, which is super unfortunate."

Cathy Green, teacher, Yountville, Calif.: "Because we have a kayak, it's made it a little easier (to launch), and we like that there aren't many motor boats out on the lake."

Miranda Ernst, stay-at-home mom, Truckee: "In Boca and Stampede, it's like you literally can't take your boat out, go tubbing, wakeboarding or do any kind of water sport. The only place you can really launch your boat is in here or Tahoe, and it's pretty packed."
