Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe unveils 2010 calendar photos

Truckee andamp;#8212; The 13 top dogs from the 2010 Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe calendar contest are now on display at Elijah Bleuandamp;#8217;s House of Coffee andamp; Good Eats.The 2010 Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe Lucky Dogs of Tahoe calendar features rescued dogs that are now living the good life in the Tahoe area. There were more than 250 photo contest entries. Every calendar dog has a heartwarming story detailing its journey from homeless dog to family pet.The large photos on 16-by-20-inch canvases are available for purchase in a silent auction at Elijah Bleuandamp;#8217;s. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. The auction closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22.The 2010 Lucky Dog calendar is $20 with all the proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, which is helping save and improve the lives of pets in the Truckee-North Tahoe region.
