JAX at the Tracks partners with High Fives
December 31, 2012
TRUCKEE, Calif. – JAX at the Tracks, an iconic diner known for re-imagining hometown cuisine has partnered with the High Fives Foundation. Upon closing out a dining check, guests of JAX at the Tracks will be invited to donate $1 to the High Fives Foundation through the “Live a Hearty Life” program created by owner Bud Haley. This program demonstrates the passion he and his family share with the Lake Tahoe community for winter action sports and philanthropy.
Haley’s vision is to incorporate fundraising for the High Fives Foundation into the family friendly atmosphere found at JAX at the Tracks.
“It is a natural fit for the High Fives Foundation to continue to promote health and well being by partnering with JAX at the Tracks. The Food Network’s popular show ‘Diners, Drive-ins and Dives’ gave a rave review of the food at JAX at the Tracks and we as a Foundation are fortunate to work with such a fine establishment and to Live a Hearty Life!” said Roy Tuscany, executive director of High Fives Foundation.
The High Fives Foundation procures funding for its three program services through laid back and fun fundraising events. The next marquee High Fives Foundation fundraising event will be the Squaw Valley Prom. It is scheduled for Feb. 23, 8 p.m. at the Squaw Valley – Olympic House. Details are available at http://www.highfivesfoundation.org.
