Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine workshop in Truckee

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The mandala of the Enlightened Feminine creates a sacred geography within the psyche leading toward the realization of the innate perfection of the world. Based on the Work of Lama Tsultrim Allione, founder of Tara Mandala and author of and#8220;Women of Wisdomand#8221; and and#8220;Feeding Your Demons,and#8221; presented by Ellen Booth Church, May 22, 10 a.m., 10157 Donner Pass Road, Downtown Truckee.
The mandala is a blueprint for sacred reality on every level. Ritually, aesthetically, and symbolically it expresses the inherent purity of all existence and embodiment as a path to liberation. Through the mandala, the psyche is provided with a container and structure for transformation and architecture of enlightened experience. In the workshop explore through color, light, sound and visualization how human emotions are the very seeds for transformation and enlightenment. Ellen Booth Church (Yeshe Choepel) is a former professor of Education at New York State University. She is a 23-year practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism, teacher for Key West Tara Mandala and an accomplished writer. She has created several Satellite Sanghas for her teacher, Lama Tsultrim Allione. For the past three years she has assisted Lama Tsultrim in the month long 3 Yana Retreat at Lama Tsultrimand#8217;s retreat center, Tara Mandala, in southwestern Colorado.
