Opinion: America should be ashamed for Caitlyn Jenner hubbub

How pathetic it is that the angle chosen by the media circus surrounding Caitlyn Jenner, and by Jenner herself, is that somehow it is society, and not her, nor the media, that needs to become more "sensitive" to the feelings of others.

Barely five months have passed since a woman was killed after her car was struck from behind by Jenner's, shoved into the oncoming lane of traffic, and met head on by another vehicle.

Despite this fact, Jenner has reveled publicly in her new role, egged on by an equally callous and insincere media circus who seem to have just simply erased any memory, sensitivity, tact, empathy, or sympathy for the dead or the bereaved families. Not even a respectful mention.

Sensitivity, eh? Yeah, right! Even by American standards, this story is a new low.

This opinion piece mentions Jenner’s role in a February crash in Malibu, Calif., that killed 69-year-old Kim Howe. According to media reports, investigators this month determined that while Jenner was inattentive, she will not face felony charges, as she was not intoxicated or texting or using her cellphone prior to the crash.
