The following police reports are collected from Truckee Police Department and Nevada County Sheriff’s Office reports from Dec. 28 to Jan. 3.Dec. 28• At 6 a.m. on Northwoods Boulevard there was a non-injury two-vehicle hit-and-run collision. • At 2 p.m. on Martis Creek Road Truckee police officers responded to an airplane crash in Placer County south of the Truckee Tahoe Airport.• At 2:15 p.m. on Palisades Drive a vehicle was struck by another vehicle backing out of a parking space. The first vehicle failed to stop and exchange information.• At 7:30 p.m. on Alder Road officers responded to a report of domestic violence resulting in a minor injury. Both parties were arrested on suspicion of corporal punishment and were put in jail.Dec. 29• At 9:45 a.m. on Rocky Lane a non-injury collision occurred at the intersection of Meadow Way and Rocky Lane.• At 10:30 a.m. on Highway 267 a non-injury two-vehicle collision occurred. • At 2:45 p.m. on Jeffrey Pine Road an animal control officer advised during a contact at a residence that he smelled marijuana. During a cursory search of the residence two marijuana plants were located and seized. The owner of the plants was not home during the seizure.• At 5:15 p.m. on Tahoe Drive a woman came into the lobby of the sheriff’s office to turn in a small amount of marijuana she found in her mailbox. The marijuana was taken and booked into evidence at Truckee police department for destruction.• At 6 p.m. On Zurich Place two roommates were upset with each other about numerous issues. Officers mediated and one of the parties agreed to move from the residence when his name was released from the lease.Dec. 30• At 2:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a noninjury, hit-and-run collision occurred on private property. The suspect driver and vehicle could not be identified.• At 3:30 p.m. on Highway 89 south a victim reported a suspect assaulted him. The suspect was located and admitted he had assaulted the victim. The victim signed a citizen arrest form. The suspect was placed under arrest on suspicion of battery and booked into county jail.• At 4 p.m. on Deerfield Drive a suspect was found and appeared to have fallen in the woods. The subject was transported to the hospital as a medical precaution due to his injuries and intoxicated state. The subject was later arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. Police said he was under the influence of alcohol and was unable to care for his own safety or the safety of others.• At 10:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a subject was believed to have been involved in a physical altercation that took place in a parked vehicle located on Donner Pass Road. Upon further investigation, police said the subject was in fact involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend and was the primary aggressor. In addition, police said they found another altercation had taken place the night before in which she was also the primary aggressor and had caused bodily injury to her boyfriend. The subject was arrested and booked into jail on alleged charges of domestic violence.• At 10:45 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a subject was stopped for a traffic violation. The subject was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.Dec. 31• Before midnight on Donner Pass Road a cab stopped directly in front of an officer on foot patrol downtown and the officer noticed that the right-front passenger had an open 40-ounce beer between his knees. The driver of the taxi and the passenger were cited for allowing an open container in the vehicle. • At 2:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road an individual called in to report a prior collision and advised that the vehicle had been abandoned. The driver was located and cited on suspicion of misdemeanor hit and run.• At an unknown time on Schussing Way a vehicle slid out into a parked police vehicle causing minor damage. • At 1:30 p.m. on Lausanne a non-injury accident occurred where a vehicle skidded off the roadway into the culvert. • At 2 p.m. on Kudu Court a husband and wife had a verbal argument concerning their pending divorce. Both parties agreed to separate for the day.• At 10:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a driver and several people reported a subject walking in the roadway. Officers arrived and attempted contact with the suspect, who became uncooperative and fought with officers. The suspect was ultimately taken into custody, medically cleared, and transported to Nevada City for booking.Jan. 1• At midnight on Donner Pass Road officers responded to a bar downtown to break up physical fighting in and around the bar. Several people were arrested.• At midnight on Donner Pass Road officers responded to a bar fight at another bar downtown. One person was injured and requested prosecution. Bouncers at the bar and other witnesses said the suspect was generally fighting with anyone. Officers located the suspect and arrested him without incident, according to police reports.• At 1:30 a.m. on Pine Cone Drive a report was made of battery involving two roommates. The victim suffered a broken nose and a contusion to the left eye area. • At 1:30 a.m. on Commercial Row a hit and run was witnessed involving town property in a downtown parking lot. The suspect was located following subsequent collisions a short distance away. The suspect was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and charged with the hit and run. • At 1:30 a.m. on Jibboom Street a suspect was seen hitting a street sign and leaving the scene. Prior to being stopped, the suspect backed into an unoccupied vehicle. The suspect was later arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.• At 2 a.m. on Donner Pass Road officers responded to a report of a large physical fight at a bar downtown. Several arrests were made. • At 2 a.m. on Commercial Row several arrests were made at the scene of a large bar fight and someone interfered with an arrest, police said. • At 3:30 a.m. on Olympic Drive a report came in that a vehicle rolled over in front of a residence with unknown injuries. Upon arrival, officers located an un-occupied vehicle rolled onto its side. The driver was located and subsequently arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.• At 10:45 a.m. on Ski Slope Way a suspect and a victim got into an argument. The victim stated she wanted to leave. The suspect backed his truck in behind the victim to keep her from leaving. The victim stated that she did not feel threatened by the suspect. The victim left the residence.• At 2:30 p.m. on Deerfield Drive during the night the second drive-through window of the McDonald’s was broken. Video tape was reviewed and showed an unknown person walk up and smash the window then ran off.• At 6:45 p.m. on Winter Creek Loop an unknown suspect entered a model home at the Winter Creek Subdivision, gaining entry by breaking a window sometime during the night and taking several bottles of wine. No suspect information or evidence was obtained.Jan. 2• At midnight on Donner Pass Road officers observed a male subject lying on the railroad track behind the bus depot. The subject was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness.• At 7 a.m. on Wellington Way an individual reported numerous harassing phone calls from a former tenant. • At 7:15 p.m. on Sugar Pine Road a driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.• At 8:45 p.m. on Donner pass Road a subject was found to be passed out in the bus depot and was subsequently arrested for public intoxication.Jan. 3• At 10:15 a.m. on Brockway Road a report was made of vandalism to a vehicle. Damage was done to a a driver side window. No suspect information was obtained.• At 2 p.m. on Donner Pass Road multiple calls were received regarding an intoxicated subject threatening and harassing a customer. The subject was contacted and displayed signs of intoxication. The subject was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and booked into jail.
