Resort at Squaw Creek hires director of sales

Resort at Squaw Creek, a Destination Hotels andamp; Resort-managed property, has hired Cory Carlson as director of sales for the 360-room resort located at the base of Squaw Valley USA, five miles from Lake Tahoe. Carlson will oversee a sales team of five sales representatives, plus a support team. andamp;#8220;Iandamp;#8217;ve known Cory professionally for many years andamp;#8212; through his days in Colorado and Lake Tahoe andamp;#8212; and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge about mountain resorts,andamp;#8221; said Les Pedersen, director of sales and marketing for Resort at Squaw Creek. andamp;#8220;Weandamp;#8217;re thrilled to welcome him to the team.andamp;#8221;Previously, Carlson served as associate director of sales at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nev.
