Riverside Studios invites you to First Friday with Aimee Had, High Fives Non-Profit Foundation

Courtesy Aimee HadTruckee painter Aimee Had is the featured artist at Riverside Studioand#8217;s First Friday art opening, Feb. 3, 4-8 p.m. Had is an oil painter driven by a love for animals and her fascination with the natural world, gaining her first genuine painting success one summer nine years ago, painting and surfing continually, while living in a tent with her dog on Ocracoke Island, N.C. This Fridayand#8217;s show pays homage to her dog BB, featuring him and his favorite landscapes, including Hobart Sheep Camp, shown here.

TRUCKEE,Calif. and#8212; Riverside Studios and the CR Johnson Healing Center present and#8220;Lion Heart Art Showand#8221; on Friday, Feb. 3, 4-8 p.m. Join an evening celebrating great art from area artists while enjoying beats from DJ One Truest at 10060 Donner Pass Road, Truckee.

Artists will display their artwork on 10 x 10 inch panels of wood. Each piece will be sold for $100 with proceeds going to the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation – CR Johnson Healing Center. Enjoy an evening of art, music, hors dand#8217;oeuvres and drinks while donating to an amazing cause! Painter Aimee Had, who throws down mad skills on canvas, will be the featured artist.

On Aug. 10, 2011, the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation opened the CR Johnson Healing Center as a program service to commemorate the professional skier and beloved Truckee residentand#8217;s birthday.
