TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Join the Truckee Optimist Club Saturday, June 11, 1-5 p.m. at the Truckee Regional Park, Brockway Road for the Truckee Brew Fest, a fundraiser to support programs, sponsorships, grants and scholarships for the youth of Truckee.

This yearand#8217;s Brew Fest will feature premium micro brews by Northern California and Nevada breweries. Past participating breweries have included: Fifty/Fifty Brewing Company, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Fox Barrel Cider Co., Mt. Tallac Brewing, Hoppy Brewing, Firestone Walker Fine Ales, Great Basin Brewery, Black Diamond Brewing Co., Buckbean Brewing, Mad River Brewing Co., Lockdown Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co., Lost Coast Brewing Co., Trumer Pils, Big Sky Brewing, Blue moon, Mendocino Brewing Co., Pyramid Brewing, Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Drakes brewing Co., Woodchuck Draft Cider, Wyderand#8217;s Cider, Strongbow Cider, and Woodpecker Cider. We anticipate even more this year!

The feature band will be Dead Winter Carpenters with their blends of rock and#8217;n roll, folk, roots, country, bluegrass, ragtime, blues and reggae music.



Brats and other barbecue items will be available for sale. There will also be a silent auction. Entry fee includes a commemorative tasting glass.

Free admission to non-drinking designated drivers as well as taxis and free overnight parking for those who need a ride home.



Advanced tickets for $25 are available at Truckee Book and Bean, Dickson Realty, and the Auto Doctor. Tickets at the gate are $30. Must be 21 years or older, and no dogs are allowed.
